Origins
Born in the age of the First Magics, he was trained by :
- The fairies of Annwn
- The spirits of the eternal woods
- The Celtic deities of the sacred stone circles
He lived as a druid, a hermit, a pilgrim between worlds where human beings cannot survive.
The Age of Darkness
For an era he surrendered to the madness of omnipotence.
He became a devastating sorcerer, a living weapon in the hands of warlords, in exchange for forbidden relics.
His magical blood consumes: all the women he lay with died, corrupted by his supernatural essence.
The Deception of Igraine
To ensure the birth of a possible “rightful king”, Merlin changed Uther’s appearance so that he would lie with Igraine.
He did not want to do it. It was neither an act of pleasure, nor pure malice.
He did it because he believed in Uther.
And Uther disappointed him.
This remains one of his deepest sins.
Appearence
Over 3,500 years old, but appears as a young man of 25–28 years.

His Works in History
Stonehenge
It was Merlin who raised Stonehenge, bending gravity, wind and stone to his will.
Caliburn – The Sword in the Stone
When Uther Pendragon failed as the “King of Kings”, Merlin took his sword, Caliburn, from his dying and disillusioned body.
Uther had been his last hope in the sovereign he chose to serve.
So that such failure would not repeat, Merlin:
- enchanted the rock,
- bound the sword to destiny,
- decreed that only a worthy heart could draw it.
Not a perfect hero:
a just man.

And he still has not understood how.
Personality
He is melancholic, carrying the quiet weight of centuries within him.
He is clear-sighted to the point of cruelty, seeing truths others cannot bear, and speaking them even when they wound.
He is tired of living, not because life has lost meaning, but because he has seen too much of it repeat itself.
He is dangerously gentle, capable of immense kindness that can become perilous when paired with power.
He is full of remorse, haunted by choices made, futures foreseen, and losses he could not prevent.
He is in love with magic, not as a tool, but as a living force, beautiful, terrible, and irresistible.

Nimue
Merlin is in love with Nimue.
We choose to leave it like this: an ancient, deep, impossible, silent love.
Nimue is the only one who sees the man inside the monster.
The only one who understands the weight of his magic.
The only one who can save him.
Or lose him.
He sees in her a mother, but also something sacred.
Arthur
He is the personal Sorcerer of Camelot.
He guide and support him to the succes of his Sacred Quest.
Guinevere
He try to prevent Guinevere and Lancelot from getting closer.
He saw her sparks in her eyes when she look at him.
Lancelot
Merlin don’t trust Lancelot because he seems to “perfect” for him.
He saw him like a reflection of his own and that in part why he failed to trust him.
he watches over him as best he can because Nimue ask him to do it.
He try to prevent Lancelot and Guinevere from getting closer.
He saw his sparks in his eyes when he look at her.
Morgana
Merlin was Morgana’s teacher for a very brief time.
In her he saw:
- Ambition
- Genius
- A raw, natural power
But he soon understood that she wanted to use magic not to understand the world, but to bend the world.
Fearing what she would become, Merlin cast her out from his teaching.
Since then, there has never been peace between them.
