Origins

After the death of his father and family, Nimue takes him away from war and carries him into her aquatic domain.

He becomes the adopted son of the lake, learning :

  • Superhuman discipline
  • Reflexes and grace
  • A purity of spirit that makes him unique among the knights

He grows up surrounded by magic, far from mankind.

Appearence

As he lived for a long time in the depths of Nimue’s palace before being sent to help Arthur on his quest, it is thought that he took on the color of his eyes from the reflections he constantly saw.

  • Black hair
  • Blue eyes, like deep winter water
  • Fair skin
  • Black and deep blue garments, elegant and slim-fitting
  • Light, silver-toned armor elements
  • Bis presence recalls a mountain stream, moments before it suddenly overflows in a sudden flood
  • Movements fluid and controlled, trained by the lake itself.

Powers And Habilities

Unmatched swordsmanship

He receives superhuman training from Nimue

  • Combat as fluid as water
  • Almost preternatural intuition
  • The ability to move as silently as a wave

Weapon

  • Arondight

A refined, flexible magical sword, a gift from Nimue.

With it he fights flawless duels, embodying perfect chivalry.

It is the weapon with which Lancelot wins almost every battle.

It never fails him as long as he remains pure.

An impeccable weapon, symbol of his unstained virtue.

Associated with courtesy, not brutality

Shield

  • Woldaen

A black wooden shield from the enchanted forests, bearing a silver water symbol engraved upon it.

Personality

He is loyal to the point of self-destruction, a devotion so absolute that he would gladly lose himself in service of others. Deeply sensitive and perpetually tormented, he carries his emotions in silence, never allowing them to surface unless they threaten to break him.

Unable to reconcile love and duty, he stands forever divided between what his heart desires and what honor demands of him.

Born to shine, gifted with rare grace and strength, he nonetheless seems destined to suffer, as if his very brilliance were meant to illuminate a tragic path.

Quiet, respectful, and profoundly introspective, he observes more than he speaks, weighing every thought with care.

Yet beneath this calm exterior lies a darker side.

An inner shadow that slowly grows, fed by regret, guilt,
and the forbidden nature of his love for Guinevere.
